There is so much pollen here. You can literally see bunches of pollen floating through the sky. It gets in your nose and it sticks to the small hairs on your arms and on the seat of your pants whenever you sit down. It makes you sneeze and it gives you headaches and it makes your hands feel sticky.Â
But without it, my window would not be the same.Â
I have never seen so much color. Looking out of the window is like looking at a super saturated, edited photograph. Except the photograph moves, ever so slightly, as the bright buds and lime green leaves or blades of grass quiver in the breeze. And the space where blue sky meets the lime green and yellow leaves is a feast for my eyes.Â
I imagine painting that collision of color.Â
Would I paint the blue, and then a smatter of lime green and yellow on top? Or maybe I would I let the greens and yellows dry, and add the blue on top of the green to let the sky come through the trees.
